Hello,

We are The Last Frontier Ghostbusters. We are located in Anchorage, Alaska, and are currently the only cosplay group based on the movie "Ghostbusters" in the entire state.

Last August, we acquired a 1989 Buick LeSabre Hearse from a group in California, which we had shipped up here.

We had made several appearances at events with it throughout Anchorage, but during one such event, the transmission failed.

After getting it back home and calling numerous shops in Anchorage, Palmer, Eagle River, and Wasilla, we did manage to find a shop willing to diagnose and work on it (due to its age, the majority of repair places did not want to touch it).

We then found out the entire transmission assembly has to be replaced.

The total cost of the work being done is $6,016.80 as quoted by Peak Performance in Wasilla, Alaska.

We are a small non-profit organization that travels throughout Alaska, helping our community, and we do this out of our pockets. Unfortunately, this repair is too big for our small group to take on by ourselves, so we are asking for the community's help in getting her back on the road to appear at events, and doing what we do best. Supporting our community!
